Today, We will Travel to Lonavala.  Which is a hill station surrounded by green valleys in western India near Mumbai. The Karla Caves and the Bhaja Caves are ancient Buddhist shrines carved out of the rock.

They feature massive pillars and intricate relief sculptures. South of the Bhaja Caves sits the imposing Lohagad Fort, with its 4 gates. West of here is Bhushi Dam, where water overflows onto a set of steps during rainy season.

Have you gone Ever Lonavala?
I have Visited Lonavala Many times. I stay at Mumbai, so it's near from me. It is about 64 kilometres west of modern-day Pune city and 100 kilometres from the city of Mumbai. I Love Lonavala Very much. One of my Favourite place is Lonavala.



Me and My team had gone there for Shooting a project, this year. We did shoot of a Horror short movie "LONAVALA FILES", Which is Available on Youtube.
We enjoyed a lot with shooting. I think Lonavala is a great place for joy. If you are feeling bore, pack a bag, and go to Lonavala. You will feel refreshed.

History Of Lonavala
Wikipedia Says:
Present day Lonavla was a part of the Yadava Dynasty. Later, the Mughals realized the strategic importance of the region and kept the region for an extended time. The forts in the region and the "Mavla" warriors played an important role in the history of the Maratha and Peshwaempires.In 1871, the Lonavla and Khandala hill stations were discovered by Lord Wliphinstone, who was the Governor of Bombay Presidency at the time.

                     


Valvan Dam- Valvan Dam is  more than a century old.and it looks too beautiful.
This dam has a garden at the foot of its wall, Which was built by Britisher. It is 2 KM From the town.

Rajmachi Point- Rajmachi point is  Very Famous In Lonavala. This point commands a view of Shivaji maharaj's fort.


Ryewood Park & Shivaji Udyan-This is an extensive garden situated in Lonavla. The garden has a number of tall trees - some of which are very old.

Della Adventure Park- Della is India’s largest adventure park situated in popular Lonavala hill station. It is a very big theme park cum resort.

Lonavla Lake- Lonavla Lake is surrounded by natural scenery, about 1.6 km from the town.

Tiger Point- Tiger Point also known as Tiger's Leap is a cliff-top with a sheer drop of over 650 m, giving an extensive view.

                      


Visapur Fort- Adjacent to the Lohagad fort lies the visapur fort which is part of the Lohagad-Visapur fortification. 


Narayani Dham- Narayani Dham is a temple constructed in 2002 in honor of the Hindu Goddess Narayani .

Suicide Point- This place is Very Famous In Lonavala. It is said that, People come here to commit Suicide. This is a mystrey for this place. But It looks great.

Do you know? Lonavala Looks to beautiful in Rainy seasong. Greenery Around, High and beautiful mountaions, Clouds coming down from the top, Falling water Spring!! Wow!! I cann't express my feeling about Lonavala in words. Only i will say Wow!! Wow!! and again Wow!!



In Rainy Season, it seems like, Heaven has come to the ground. I always wait for rainy Seaon. Only, Visit for Lonavala.
