Lucknow is the Capital Of Uttar Pradesh State. This is situated in the area which was historically known as Awadh region. 
Lucknow was known in ancient times as Laxmanpuri. This city was founded in 1775 by Aasafudaula. Lucknow city was also called "City Of Gold".

History Of Lucknow
Wikipedia Says: From 1350 onwards, Lucknow and parts of the Awadh region were ruled by the Delhi Sultanate, Sharqi Sultanate, Mughal Empire, Nawabs of Awadh, the British East India Company and the British Raj.

For about eighty-four years (from 1394 to 1478), Awadh was part of the Sharqi Sultanate of Jaunpur. Emperor Humayun made it a part of the Mughal Empire around 1555. Emperor Jahangir(1569–1627) granted an estate in Awadh to a favoured nobleman, Sheikh Abdul Rahim, who later built Machchi Bhawan on this estate. It later became the seat of power from where his descendants, the Sheikhzadas, controlled the region.

Chota Imambara, also known as Imambara Hussainabad Mubarak.


3. LUCKNOW ZOO
Lucknow Zoo is also known as the prince of WALES ZOOLOGICAL Park and spread across an area of 71.6 Acres. it was built to 1921.

Hazratganj is a major shopping area situated in the heart of Lucknow in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. In addition to bazaars, it also contains shopping complexes, restaurants, hotels, theaters and offices.

Ambedkar Memorial Park is a public park and memorial in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is more formally known as Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal and is also referred to simply as "Ambedkar Park".
